Fast Forward to 2024

We are a bustling full-service floral boutique serving Wahoo and beyond.

We count ourselves lucky to be surrounded by beautiful things and beautiful souls every single day. Over the past 11+ years we’ve been blessed with customers that we have celebrated with, shed tears with, and ultimately have became dear friends with along the way.

We moved to a new location in the middle of the pandemic in 2020 and expanded our offering. Our gift boutique is stocked with thoughtful and intentional goods from over 100 small-batch brands. We choose to fill the shelves with our tried and true favorites—brands that prioritize social good, brands powered by females, and those products that we swear by and use daily.

And we love Wahoo right back.

When we aren’t behind the design table, you can find us giving back to our community.

We’ve served extended board terms for the Saunders County Historical Society, the Wahoo Chamber of Commerce, sat on advisory board committees, helped with the City of Wahoo’s brand development, taught FFA floriculture teams and Wahoo Senior Center members, and hosted numerous Kids Summer Institute elementary age students in our doors.

We don’t anticipate slowing down anytime soon! For donation requests, please click here.

It all started in 2012 with bangs.

Well. Sort of.

In 2012 I was a 31 year old new mom with a 18-month old baby girl. I had dabbled in floral design throughout college (majoring in Horticulture at the University of Nebraska) creating silk flowers for all my college friends that would let me. And then the orders started coming from friends of friends.

And then one night while reading Dr. Seuss’s ‘Oh the Places You’ll Go’ to my daughter, I realized the line “You’re off to great places. Today is your day. Your mountain is waiting… so get on your way!” had a whole new meaning. It was right then sitting in the worn out brown suede recliner in her room that I knew I couldn’t rightly encourage her to live out her dreams, if I didn’t pursue my own.

So, I (gulp) left my long time job as a sales rep in wholesale flowers, signed a lease on a charming little building with natural light and wood floors in downtown Wahoo (with a quick margarita after that to settle the nerves), walked in a mall salon and cut some dramatic bangs on a whim, and tried my hand as a newly minted flower shop owner.

The shop window at 543 N Linden circa 2015.
